Questions

The things founders ask first.

What it is, what it looks at, who it's for, and what it costs.

Is this a staffing analysis?

Yes. It's a clear look at your staff and how your company runs. It's not a headcount forecast. It won't tell you how many people to hire. It answers the questions that keep you up at night. Are you short people where the work is heaviest? Do your tools fit your size? Is the work written down, or in a few people's heads? Who really owns and decides what? The verdict: whether what you've built will hold as you double, and the five moves to get there.

Why is it called Quiet Wins?

The fixes that make a company run without you are small. Nobody notices them one at a time. You hand one thing off. You write one thing down. You give one job one owner. Nobody claps. Each one is a quiet win. They add up. Every report you get here is a list of them, in order, with the first one on top.

What does it actually look at?

Three gauges. People: do you have enough people, and what breaks if one leaves. Structure: who owns what, and who decides. Systems: your tools, and whether the work is written down. Together they tell you if you're ready to grow.

Do you tell me who to fire?

No. Quiet Wins works at the level of roles and structure, never named people. You make the people decisions, with a much clearer picture of what each seat requires.

We're an older or bigger company, not a startup. Does this apply?

Yes. The problems it finds show up anywhere. Too much work on too few people. One person everything depends on. Unclear owners. The wrong tools. Work nobody wrote down. For bigger companies, many teams, or buying through procurement, we set up a custom version.

Do you work with government or regulated organizations?

Yes. The Three Gauges work for teams of 1 to 200. The Staff Analysis is built for 10 to 200. Bigger, or buying through procurement? We set up a custom version. Tell us about your team and we'll tell you what it takes.

When should I hire a COO?

When the problem is getting things done, not strategy. And when there's a real structure for that person to step into. Look at the structure first. A COO dropped into a broken one usually fails. More on when to hire a COO.

What does it cost?

What's Stuck is free. $49 for one gauge. $99 for all three. $1,500 to add your team.

How long does it take?

What's Stuck takes 3 minutes. For each $49 gauge, you give your name and email, pay, then answer for about 10 minutes. Your report is ready about 2 minutes after you press send. The Founder Read takes 20 minutes. The Staff Analysis takes a few days, because your team answers too. Reminders go out on day 3 and day 7. It closes on day 14, or sooner if you close it.

Does a person read my answers?

A system reads them. I built it from the way I read companies. I read them myself only when I've invited you to work with me. Your answers are stored encrypted. They are never used to train anything.

Can I upgrade?

Yes. Your $49 comes off the Founder Read. Your $99 comes off the Staff Analysis.

Three minutes from now, you'll know what to fix first.

Eight questions. A red, yellow, or green on People, Structure, and Systems. And the one thing to fix first.
